도전의 역사, 대한민국 동계올림픽
생모리츠 올림픽은 동계올림픽 역사에 KOREA라는 이름을 처음 알리는 순간이었습니다. 
당시 겨우 3명의 선수가 출전한 작은 시작이었지만 
동계올림픽 경기장에 첫 태극기가 펼쳐졌던 그 순간은 
우리 역사에 소중한 기억으로 남아 있습니다.
이제 동계스포츠 강국으로 우뚝 선 대한민국. 
국민들과 함께 때론 웃고, 때론 화도 내고, 많은 격려도 받으며 성장해온 대한민국 동계스포츠가, 
드디어 그 결실을 맺을 순간이 오고 있습니다.
우리는 기억합니다. 1988년 서울 올림픽의 설레임을. 2002년 월드컵의 열정을.
세계인의 눈이 집중될 2018년 평창, 대한민국의 힘을 세계로 알릴 그 무대가 펼쳐질 것입니다.
이제는 평창입니다.

A History of Challenges – The Winter Olympic Games in the Republic of Korea 
At the 1948 Winter Olympics held in St. Moritz, Switzerland, 
the nation of Korea was announced as a participant for the first time. 
It was a humble beginning for Korea, with the participation of only three athletes, 
but it was a historically meaningful because Korea’s national flag was raised at the Winter Olympics 
for the first time. 
Korea has transformed itself into a Winter Olympics powerhouse.  
After decades of tears and joy, inspiration and encouragement, 
Korea’s current wealth of talent in winter sports is set to realize all the fruits of it’s hard work.
We remember! The excitement of 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. The passion of 2002 FIFA World Cup.  
In 2018, all the eyes of the world will be on PyeongChang, 
as we set the stage for Korea to show its strength and beauty to the world.
Now, it’s PyeongChang.
