KAARI hosted the End of Year Open House and Annual Meeting on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the KAARI Culture Center at 1140 Park Avenue. We are still reeling from the post-Covid, but many have visited during open house hours from 2-5 pm. The visitors enjoyed live 'Gayageum' performances by Oh Junghee and Seoyeun Kim, including Christmas Carols such as Jungle Bells and Silent Night and delicious Korean snacks and refreshments.
Secretary general Sun Kang presided over the annual KAARI meeting at 6.00 pm. President Sangwook Ji and Board Director Heonjo Park gave updates on the KAARI business and affairs. Building Committee Chair Bongsup Cho and Culture Committee Chair Angela Sharkey subsequently updated their committee work. After the meeting, the attendees had a delicious Korean dinner, mingled, and caught up with friends and neighbors.
