Our KAARI member, Ms Andre Lee Bassuet, will be doing two art activities related to Hangul. These activities involvee extension of the printmaking activity she did at the September 28th Korean Festival and will include some games and more workshop materials.

Korean Hangul Workshop

Curiou about the Korean language? Join in to learn Korean with fun art making activities. Hangul is one of the youngest writing systems created in the 15th century by King Sejong to increase literacy amongst its people. The shape of the letters mimics your tongue shape as you mouth the words. Celebrate the beauty of Korean typography for its simple and graphic quality.
