The 72nd Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Agreement

The 72nd Anniversary of the Korean War Armistice Agreement was held at the Korean War Memorial in Providence at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28th.

 

The ceremony was attended by Korean War veterans and their families, state officials, Boston Consul General Jae-hwi Kim, Korean American Association of RI (KAARI) President Angela Sharkey, and KAARI members.

 

Commander Mende, Consul General Kim, and KAARI President Sharkey laid flowers at the memorial, and all attendees took a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
