RI Korean Festival Pictures!!

The Korean American Association of Rhode Island (KAARI) held the 'RI 'Korean Festival' on Saturday, May 6, 2023.  Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA) and the Overseas Koreans Foundation supported this event. The ‘Festival’ is the first of its kind in Rhode Island. Its primary goal was to introduce Korean culture, music, food, and various fun games, such as wearing hanbok, tuho, calligraphy, dalgona, tagchigi, gonggi nori, and ohjaemi.   Prizes accompanied spicy food eating contests and jegi-chagi. The curiosity of many participants led the adults who came with their families to have a good time together as children.
 
Many people participated in the survey through QR code and paper, and almost all of them showed great interest and satisfaction and gave excellent comments.
