Open House for Gayageum Classes

KAARI hosted an open-house demo for the Korean harp Gayageum instrument on Saturday, May 5th 2018. Gayageum Instructor Junghee Oh gave a gayageum demo and held a Q&A session for the audience.  Several adults and children attended the event.

The featured guest was Junghee Oh's apprentice, Seoyeon Kim. She played Gayageum with Korean traditional song.  Previously, Seoyeon also performed at KAARI's 8.15 Liberation Day/Korea Day event.

The Gayageum class starts on May 28th and will continue for eight weeks, 1 hour each Monday. If you are interested in attending this day, please contact Junghee Oh. We would appreciate it if you could send us a $160 lessen fee for the 8-week course.
