The 40th Rhode Island Heritage Festival was held on Saturday, September 9, in Providence State House.  Ethnic food, traditional dance, traditional music, and art from various countries were presented.

Angela Shakey co-MCed the festival. KAARI also participated and introduced Korean traditional culture and food. Angela has also performed a Korean traditional dance. The secretary-general Monica Lee and her husband Jerry's Bulgogi attracted visitors. Yumin Jeong, Sooyeon Hwang, and Minji Kang, who are studying at URI Pharmacy, and Yvonne, a CCRI International Club student, also helped.
