RISCA Project Grant Received!

*RISCA Project Grant for Organization (PGO) Received: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027.

The Korean American Association of Rhode Island (KAARI) received a Project Grant for Organization (PGO) from the RI State Council on the Arts (RISCA). This $4,200 grant will be used for the KARA Korea Festival, to be held on September 19, 2026.

In this cycle, RISCA received 64 eligible applications totaling $351,900 in requested funds. RISCA’s $132,860 budget allowed for the awarding of 31 grants.

Since beginning to receive grants from RISCA on October 2, 2018, the Korean American Association of Rhode Island has received grants almost every year. Thanks to these RISCA awards, KAARI is growing and receiving significant support for organizing various cultural events.  Moving forward, KAARI will continue to maintain a deep bond with RISCA and strive to become the Council’s model organization.
