Korean Association of Rhode Islland (KAARI) is pleased to offer ‘Summer Camp’ for traditional Korean Folk Dance. 


WHEN: 10 Weekly sessions starting June 12 - August 14

PLACE: KAARI Culture Center, 1140 Park Avenue,

Cranston, RI 02910 (Street parking available)


Instructor Angela Sharkey studied Korean Folk Art that emphasizes traditional dance, instruments, and music in Seoul Korea. She continued her fork art education through the designated “Human Treasures” Program of Korea Folk Culture Institute. Sharkey established the Hibiscus Korean Cultural Group to promote Korean folk dance and its heritage to next generations. Currently, Sharkey chairs the KAARI Culture Committee.
