행사 화음 보스톤 오케스트라 가을 연주회

화음보스톤 챔버오케스트라의 가을 초청 연주회가 로드아일랜드에서 열립니다.

“The Hwaum Boston Orchestra Presents Welcome Fall Concert in Rhode Island’

Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI)는  화음 보스톤 오케스트라 (박진욱 지휘, 장수인 대표)를 초청하여 ‘북한 어린이 의료품 지원금 모금’을 위한 가을 음악회를 9월 24일에 가집니다. 이번 음악회에서 모아진 자선금은  북한의 영아,유아에게 하루 우유한통과  구충제, 결핵약 등을 지원하고있는 Dr. John Linton Clinic 의 ‘Sharing Together Project’ 를 후원하여 북한 어린이들에게  의료품을 지원하여 그들의 건강을 기원하여 주는데  깊은 의미가 있읍니다.

이음악회는 CCRI International Club Advisor이신 모니카 리 씨의 숨은 노력으로 가능하였습니다. 모니카리씨는 현재 로드아일랜드 한인회 사무총장으로 봉사를 하시고 있습니다. International Club은 지난 8월 13일 로드아일랜드 한인회의 광복절/한국의 날 행사도 후원하여 주어서 우리 한인사회와 깊은 유대관계가 있읍니다. 

한인 오케스트라의 멋진 클래식음악과 함께 온정을 나눌 수 있는 뜻깊은 자리에 로드아일랜드 한인회 여러분들을 초대합니다.  클래식 음악을 사랑하고 아끼는 주위의 친분이 있는 분들과 같이 오시면 더욱 환영합니다.

“The Hwaum Boston Orchestra Presents Welcome Fall Concert in Rhode Island’

On September 24^th of 2016, Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) is hosting a fundraiser with Hwaum Boston Orchestra (Conducted by Jinwook Park, represented by Sooihn Chang) to support providing necessity for North Korean children. All proceeds raised in the fall concert will go to Dr. John Linton Clinic’s ‘Sharing Together Project.’ It will play a significant role in supporting well-being of North Korean children by providing one jar of milk a day, anthelmintic and anti-tuberculosis drug.

Special thanks to Monica Lee, CCRI International Club Advisor, for making this fundraiser possible. Monica Lee is also serving as a Secretary General in Korean American Association of Rhode Island. International Club in CCRI has great ties to Korean community in Rhode Island, since it has also funded National Liberation Day/Korean Day event on August 13^th.  

We are hereby inviting you to attend Korean American Association’s orchestra to have the opportunity to network and listen to classical music. Please join us with your friends and family who love and value classical music.
