Recent KAARI Grant/Donation

KAARI has received several valuable and meaningful grants and donations in recent years. These are due to our staff's tireless services and hard work, our active website activities, and the new building. 

The following are some examples:

 

1)    RI EXPANSION ART PROGRAM (RI-EAP) GRANT (2018-2022) $40,000

Intercultural Collaboration Seed Grant Award (ICSG, $9,339).

 

KAARI received two major art grants from RI-EAP and RISCA

2)     Elizabeth White: ‘GoFundMe’ for KAARI $800

3)     Donation from the Chapter 2 Korean War Veterans of Rhode Island, $9,800

4)     Valuable Donation from RI Residents

Two Rhode Islanders, Gregory Todd, and Tucker Houle found us and donated several valuable Korean antique items.

5)    First Corporate donation from EpiVax: $500

 

EpiVax, a Providence based vaccine development company, doated $500 to KAARI.  This is the first corporate donation in our association history.

 

6)    Rhode Island Central Korean Church, $5,000

Rhode Island Central Korean Church has donated KAARI to help the less fortunate association members.
