KAARI 2020 Korea Day

KAARI 'Korea Day' declaration ceremony was held on Wednesday, February 12, at RI State House. KAARI management team, board members, and the association members attended the event. Also attending were the Boston Consulate-General and Consulate officials, as well as other group leaders from the New England area. 

KAARI first declared 8.15 Korea Liberation Day as Korea Day in 1979. The House of Representatives of RI restored Korea Day in 2016, and Governor Raimondo proclaimed it as Korea Day. Please see the following link for the information.

National Anthem (Kim Seo-yeon / Yoon Gwang-ok), Gayageum performance (Oh Jung-hee), classical dance (Gang Eun-ju), K-Pop (Brown Univ & RISD), and Taekwondo (US Taekwondo Complex) helped the event.
